Zephyr and Suru B. Watch Anime: A Three Day Marathon of Pain and Fluffiness

So, me and my friend Zephyr-Writes (follow her, guys, she’s amazing) decided to watch anime together and message each other about our feelings.

HOLY SHIT, WE STARTED OUT WITH FATE/ZERO AND THAT WAS JUST PAIN. PAIN, I TELLS YA. We watched that for two days and we were a MESSSSSSSSSSSS. Yes, all those S’s are needed.

Then today, we decided to watch Princess Jellyfish to balance out the darkness that was Fate/Zero. OMG, IT WAS SO CUTE AND FLUFFY THAT I CAN’TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Yes, those T’s are needed as well.

Expect more of these.

Love, Suru B. <3

plot twist: yahoo buys tumblr and we get proper blocking features, lockable posts, a sent folder in messages/fanmail with a better interface, ability to search multiple tags, removal of the post and message limits, proper search engines for likes/archives and removing that bloody "reblog as a link" option.

Princess Jellyfish is an adorable anime to the point that I’m grinning like an idiot watching it. Like if you haven’t seen it. WATCH IT.

handtracings asked: hi suruberry i came across your asks across TINK and i really want to say you're such an interesting person. i would love to hear more about your experiences as a black woman in like k-pop fandom just because i'm hoping to start a project about exploring blackness in asian-spaces. anywho it would be great if we could talk more ^_^

Ah, thank you for taking an interest in me and my story. My experience as a black woman in the K-Pop fandom? I will tell you that it was not sunshine and daisies. Pretty much, the good chunk of the K-Pop fandom I followed on tumblr were people of color, but I noticed the fandom in general had a wide sense of anti-blackness because the white fans denied that K-Pop idols draw influence from black artists, but some of them believed that the black fans are trying to make it a race issue. When oppa did something racist, the white fans put their fingers in their ears and ignored it while POC fans were rightfully outraged.
